I realize that my posts labeled as "The Life of Musician" have been non-existent lately. Well, it's for no other reason that I've been on my long, long summer break from orchestra work.
Rehearsals for the upcoming season begin again in a couple of weeks, actually 2 weeks from today! But in the meantime, there's exciting news:
Our CD of music of Frederic Delius has been released!
This is The Florida Orchestra's first recording for a major record label (Naxos).
It's available as a CD or an MP3 download from Amazon (here)
You can also purchase it from iTunes (here).
I haven't heard it yet, so I'm dying to know this: Were the sound engineers at Naxos able to eliminate the Rooster?
