Ring Tone Placemats

This placemat set is in honor of the cell phone that went off during a LIVE ORCHESTRA RECORDING of a VERY SOFT AND SLOW ending of a tone poem by Frederic Delius.


It was just one of those moments.  The concert hall was bristling with microphones and recording equipment.  The audience had been repeatedly admonished that THIS PERFORMANCE IS BEING RECORDED PLEASE DO NOT MOVE OR BREATHE AND HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU BE TOLD TO TURN YOUR PHONE OFF.







All went well until we were about 30 seconds from the end.  It was a very soft, very slow ending .







Then the cell phone went off.



 COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO!!!!!!!!!!

    How rude of that person! I know that whenever I go to any kind of performance, I check my phone at least 2 times to make sure it's off.
