In August

Since it's August, I must be getting ready for. . .

Christmas, of course!

Yes, it's time to take care of Quilting Violinist holiday merchandise.  I will not have time in November to do this!

Just completed:  these placemats were made with a charm pack of Kate Spade's "Flurry" collection.

I like how they go together but don't match.

When the mood for rick-rack strikes, I find it's best just to give in to it.

On my cutting table today:  more placemats out of these fabrics.  I found the Santa on his Vespa fabric last winter at Joann's, and just had to get some (now I'm glad I did!).  The green and red plaid will be the borders.  It's kind of modern and retro at the same time!

As always, it's a little strange to think about Christmas with weather like this, normal for August in Florida.  But it's kind of fun as well!

  2. What organization! Cute mats and I especially liked your table runners (looks like you're on a roll).
