(Sniffle. Cough.)

Well, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after being SICK last week.

The whole thing was shocking, because I am one of those Annoying People Who is Never Sick.  I've always been that way.  I might get one mild cold per year.  That's it.  I've never had a flu shot, because I never get the flu.

So it was pretty stunning when I woke up last Monday with aches and fever, and, well, you get the idea of how my week went from there.  It was just Garden Variety Flu, but it knocked me flat for quite a few days.

Today, FINALLY, I woke up this morning and felt Like Myself Again, with just a slightly drippy nose and a mild occasional cough.

I even did a little quilting, which has been a neglected activity lately.

You remember this custom T shirt top, which has been waiting to be completed.

I basted it yesterday, and started quilting it today.

I'm doing an all-over meander stitch in pale yellow thread.

It was great fun to fire up the Sweet 16, which has been a little neglected lately, as I've been doing mostly small projects like placemats and table runners on my regular sewing machine.

It's going to see a lot more activity in the next few months as I complete a bunch of custom projects!
