Catching Up

Retail-wise, I had a fantastic holiday season. (Yay for me!)  But that means I headed into 2013 a little low on things like placemats and table runners, which were the big sellers this year.

Better get busy!

  I ordered a bunch of these Kaffe Fassett prints from Hancock's, and cut them selvage to selvage for a table runner that's about 40" long once it's turned and topstitched.  I had just enough left over for a couple of 2 1/2" strips to save for You Know What, so there was almost no waste or leftovers.  Very efficient.

 I rarely use printed panels but I saw these at a local quilt shop and thought they were really neat!  They're from the "Bon Appetit" collection by Michael Miller.
