You'll recall from this post that this quilt was supposed to look completely different-- but an Unfortunate Cutting Error made some major design changes necessary.
Applique has saved the day!
I traced the flower shapes from a number of
different books that I have (I can't draw AT ALL)
As usual for me, it's fusible applique, with a narrow zig zag stitch in a matching color around the edges of all of the flowers.
